Each Share has its own repository of shared information which is broken up into 6 categories:
- Tasks
- Contacts
- Links
- Calendars
- Notes
- Documents (Files)
Let's take a look at each category.
Tasks
Tasks and Projects (folders of Tasks; to create a folder, click the carat on the New button) can be displayed in tile or list format and batch actions such as Copy, Move, and Delete are available when select all is checked.Tasks can be filtered or sorted by:
- Status
- All Tasks (default)
- Incomplete
- Complete
- Overdue
- Priority
- All Priorities (default)
- High
- Medium
- Low
- Sort
- Title (default)
- Priority
When a task is assigned to a member, they will receive an email notification as well as in their notification center.
Tasks can also be easily accessed through the checkmark shortcut in the bottom left hand side of the interface:
Links
Links can be displayed in tile or list format and batch actions such as Copy, Move, and Delete are available when select all is checked.Links can be sorted by Title (default) or URL and folders of Links can be created by clicking the carat on the New button. When a URL is entered in a Share it will automatically be saved in the Links category.
Notes
Notes are web-based and support rich text and markup and can be displayed in tile or list format and batch actions such as Copy, Move, and Delete are available when select all is checked.Notes can be sorted by Creation Date (default) or Title and folders of Notes can be created by clicking the carat on the New button.
Documents
Documents is a file vault for all filetypes and can be displayed in tile or list format and batch actions such as Copy, Move, and Delete are available when select all is checked.Documents can be sorted by Title (default), Size, or Date Modified and folders of Documents can be created by clicking the carat on the New button.
Clicking on a document will reveal a few options:
- Copy to - use this to copy the document to another Share or Conversation (Messages)
- Reupload - use this to upload a new version of the same document
- Edit - to edit the filename and description
- History displays a simple audit of the document's history
